Safety at Sea

M.V Creagallan 35ft vessel is very stable licensed and insured to carry 12 passengers plus Crew. The skipper/owner has extensive knowledge of the west coast waters and over 30 Years experience in commercial boat work. All safety equipment is clearly marked onboard. The vessel is safety certificated every year. All children under 14 years of age wishing to join a charter must be accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for the child while onboard the vessel. As the weather can be very variable all decisions to vary or terminate a charter must be respected. All charters onboard Creagallan depart subject to the sea conditions, as safety comes first.

DEEP WATER SKATE FISHING OR GENERAL SEA ANGLING On board MV Creagallan for all day deep water skate fishing or for all day general sea angling in the Firth of Lorn, all rods and reels are supplied but please bring your own weights and hooks for all day general sea angling or wreck fishing . Tea and coffee available on full day charters We only cater for group bookings on all day charters, maximum of 8 passengers for deep water skate fishing or maximum 10 passengers for general sea angling. MV Creagallan - Oban Bay and Oban Times Slip on the Corran Esplanade

All MV Creagallan charters depart and return to the Oban times slip, Corran Esplanade on the north side of Oban bay. The best way to find the vessel is to follow the sign posts to the north pier car park where you can leave your vehicle if required, from the car park you will see the MV Creagallan at the Oban times slip on the Corran Esplanade.
